Bandit found his very own furever home in February. Here's an update from his new mommy:
Bandit is doing great. Max and Bandit have bonded but still push each other for the attention. I am convinced that he is a southern boy because he does not want to stay outside too long. He does his thing and then right back in the house. He still thinks that he should be on the bed at night but is slowly beginning to understand that the dog bed next to the bed is his. I think over time, both dogs may sleep together. During the day they lie on the bed in the office almost on top of each other and watch the squirrels together. Right now there are three squirrels in the cherry tree just outside the window. The tree is about four feet from the window and both dogs are dead still watching. It is so funny. Can they drop there ears any lower or be more still.
Staying home this week has been great in getting him acclimated to us. He is comfortable with the tile floor; now goes in the basement without a problem and is learning the command “wait” at the door. We have walked the boundaries of the yard many times but I have not yet worked with the electric collar. I didn’t want to put too much on him at one time.
Thanks so much.
